Just a reminder for those patrons living in or near the Austin area this weekend that I’ll be participating in two events today. The first is my SXSW panel, entitled: “What’s Next?! Preparing for the Next Global Health Crisis.” The description:
Disease outbreak? Zombie apocalypse? Something in between? Whatever comes, we all want to know how to be prepared, for the sake of our family, our business, our community. This diverse panel will address the intersection of technology and policy, community engagement, supply chains, and public-private partnerships to ensure resilience and well-being, no matter what comes next.
I’ll be playing the role of the social scientist gently critiquing my public-sector and private-sector colleagues.
You can only attend that with a SXSW badge. But ANYONE can come and hear Ana Marie Cox and I record our very first live Space The Nation podcast recording about DUNE: PART TWO — or, as Ana and I keep calling it, “DUNE DEUX.”
