I don't see tweets without an account (I cancelled my Twitter account last December). They haven't backtracked from preventing viewing without any account, at least as far as I'm concerned.
I abandoned Twitter when Musk took over because of what I expected. Finally got something right. I'm interested in trying Blue Sky but I guess you need an invite....

Wrt BlueSky, it's kind of hard for ordinary folks to influence the elites if the elites are the only ones on the platform?
