I had no idea I was such an early passenger on the Drezner Substack train. To be honest I thought the hard working staff at Drezner World were experienced practitioners in the medium when I joined.

Google hates Substack. The other day that had the automatic audacity to send me a complimentary letter on receiving 20 clicks.

Outside of my gripes and the world dying in darkness, I wish you well on this journey.

Congratulations, Daniel!

I share Drezner's world as much as possible and I am reminded how long it took for me to fully take advantage of Substack offerings, having started out with Heather Cox Richardson. It is better to share with others personally, but I can understand how many writers have lost some ground with the ongoing dissolving of the reputation of Musk's personal grievance platform.

Thank you for describing how Substack works, very interesting to know.

Please, keep up the Good Works!

Yes, congratulations. I signed up your cousin Florence for a brief subscription too. She doesn't check her email very often but I'll bet she would be proud to talk to the other assisted living residents about her distinguished relative.

Congrats Daniel! (Also, too, it is just a blog ... AND a newsletter. But the word 'blog' is now the opposite of fashionable.)

Congratulations, Dan. Having been a reader in ~2002-3 or so, this is pretty great to get the ol' bloggy feeling again.

Happy Anniversary. I admit I just found you on substack a week or so ago, but I've missed your perspective on Twitter! So glad to have found a regular outlet of your work again!
