I just read the brilliant adage that journalists shouldn't worry about the partisan effects of their reporting but concentrate on their job and "A journlist's job is to create an informed public". I don't find economics interesting but I'm now markedly better informed with ready access to more information if I want to be more informed. That piece was a bit of good journalism.

Excellent article. It's too bad that someone as smart as Paul Krugman is pretending that all this protectionism is a good idea.
