The "US and Russia at war on earth, what happens in space?" story was done in "2010" and the answer (spoilers for a film from 1984) was that the American and Russian crew of the Leonov manage to continue working together to achieve the mission without violence. As it should be. I am not interested in a story about the single most important example of international cooperation descending into chaos.
Okay, fair, I am saying I'm disturbed (the point, I guess) by the idea that the ISS crew would battle each other on station when their parent nations go to war.
It's like these people didn't watch the opening sequence from "Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets".
When there is Putin who mentally does not care about Russia or the world, only cares for his little balls...and through all this, idiot putin has threatened multiple countries with nukes, not once has USA or NATO has mentioned using nukes on innocent people
That Civil War trailer was very scary, specifically where the Plemons character asks, "What kind of American are you?".
My biggest question going into the film is what kind of inciting event could drive California and Texas to form a joint breakaway nation....pressure from a migrant crisis?
Just because California is majority blue, doesn't mean it's all blue. The blue is mostly along the coast while most of the mountain north & east along with the desert southeast (where there are many military bases) is majority red. https://www.ppic.org/publication/californias-political-geography/
During a breakdown of governmental control, state boundaries will likely become largely irrelevant and counties or regions containing like-minded populations will predominate because America is increasingly self-segregating according to political ideology. [IMHO]
The Civil War trailer looks good, really good (in a bad way). Certainly won’t help get the QAnon crowd out of their tree. Time to go long(er) on Colt stock.
Add this one to the list....https://youtu.be/EIwX4xbZYpM?si=bsUQdi5IkfMYQLBq

Well.... the US & USSR didn't actually go to war in that film.

I know, and that's why I'm so curious about this.
