Dude, talking baseball after two epic soccer finals this weekend? Talk about missing the story.....

But I wasn't wrong about the soccer finals, and that was the theme of this post. Also, Argentina-Colombia might have been memorable but it wasn't epic.

It was epic if you were in a room full of Colombians.....

Presumably the phishing E-mail contained a link saying “click here to change your password” and you clicked on it? If all that the E-mail convinced you to do was to change your Twitter password the way you normally would, I don’t see how it could have compromised your account.

(I refrained from pure niceness to tell Steve Lichtenstein what cheerful, happy words he had uttered when he went into a full-on curmudgeonly rant about the state of the Yankees)

Awww, anyone could make a big error at the worst possible moment, even the supposed future of the franchise. (Soto is also that)

I can tell the Red Sox are doing well because my regular golf partners have started talking about them again. In May there was silence. But one thing about Sox fans I can never understand is the complete obsession with the Yankees. I mean, the Orioles are ahead of you too. It's not good for the Sox when they win, either. I'm a Phillies fan. We are raised to hate all other teams equally. I think that's healthier.

Heh, disagree. The Orioles have been so bad for so long that I can't hate that team until they've been at the top of the division for a good long while. They were so bad for a stretch that I remember Red Sox fans used to fly down to BWI just to watch the game at Camden Yards because good seats plus the flight there were cheaper than good Fenway seats.
