Mazel tov! The lack of robust punctuation in that announcement paragraph made it seem on first glance that you'd been awarded a named chair of Nutrition Science, which would have really been distinguished.
You forgot to write "Dr." as one of his esteemed titles before the last name. Like the Germans say, Herr Professor Dr. XYZ. We had a German CEO (last name started with R) with a PhD who had received an honorary Professor title... we used to jokingly refer to him as "HPDR"
Congratulations! I am sure Drezner’s World put you over the top in the decision making—such a “distinguished” publication. I got a few feel good, not remunerated distinguished awards during my military career—you are right about them.
Congratulations!
*scene from the zombie apocalypse*
Government Official 1: We need advice on how to deal with the zombies when they're crossing international borders. Should we ask Dan Drezner?
Government Official 2: Hmm, isn't he just some professor?
GO1: He's actually a Distinguished Professor.
GO2: Oooh. OK, send the a jet and a squad of Navy SEALS. Make sure he gets to Cheyenne Mountain.

Just out of curiosity, when you retire or become emeritus, do they change the "DIS" to "EX"?
Congrats! As my great grandmother used to say, never look a gift adjective in the mouth
Congratulations from going from just plain STINGUISHED like everyone else to fully DISTINGUISHED!!
Congratulations. A lot of people use adjectives to describe me and "distinguished" is definitely not one of them!
Congratulations! Your whuffie has increased measurably.
Congratulations 🍾🎈
Unqualifiedly cheerful news
I will refer to you as The Distinguished One in all my Threads posts henceforth.
Look upon my adjective, ye mighty, and despair!
Woohoo, congratulations!!!
Many congratulations, Sir Distinguished Professor Drezner!
